New Services in PL Book-tique
The PL Book-tique will implement the following services to help you manage
your school library account and loans:
Email notifications for your loans (tentatively from 7 Apr 2025)

You will receive a loan-due reminder 3 days before your loan is due.

If your loan is overdue by 1 day, 7 days or 30 days, you will receive an Overdue notification.
Loan Renewal via the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)
You may renew a loan item (which is not due yet) via the OPAC.
Reservation of an item through the OPAC
You
may reserve a library item (which is currently on loan to another library
user) via the OPAC.
We hope you will find the above services helpful, and it will reduce the
occurrence of overdue loans and library fines.

OPAC
OPAC is an online catalogue that allows you to check your loans and fines, browse your school library resources, search for a specific item, reserve an item or renew a loan.

Loan Policies

Number of loans: 4 books per student

Loan duration: 2 weeks (14 days)

Renewal: Up to 1 renewal allowed

Return via book drop (located opposite of the Prefects’ Room): Before 4pm or it will be taken as returned the following day.
Dress Code

School uniform
-
No slippers, flip flops, sandals etc unless due to medical reasons.
Usage Policy

Only plain water is allowed

No food, snacks and sweetened drinks allowed
-
No school bags, only laptop bag is allowed

Clear the table and push in the chair before leaving
Fines Policy
-
Overdue: $0.10 per book per day
-
Lost book: Price of book to be paid

In event of lost book with overdue, student is to pay whichever is higher
